Criminal justice fans and future forensic psychologists braved the elements to hear Dr. Kirwin present at the Meet the Authors series at the Port Jefferson Free Library on February 5th.
Slush and cold winter temperatures could not keep away the faithful who turned up to hear Dr. Kirwin cover numerous cases from her popular book, “The Mad, the Bad and the Innocent”.
Budding forensic psychologists were enthralled by Dr. Kirwin’s first-hand accounts of profiling notorious serial killers; many attendees stayed on for a personal book signing and listened to Dr. Kirwin’s inspiring tips about breaking into the field of forensic psychology.
The Meet the Authors series aimed to unite book lovers and promote interest in reading and writing. Judging by the enthusiastic turnout at Dr. Kirwin’s presentation, the event did just that!
